Floyd J. Chopin

Floyd J. Chopin, 68, of De Pere, WI, passed away in his home on October 26, 2018.
Floyd took great joy in his involvement in his church, in baking treats for the people he loved, and in doing all he could to make sure the people around him had all that they needed. His kindness, compassion, and quick wit will be remembered fondly by many.

Floyd is survived by his daughter, Laura Elizabeth Stevens-Chopin, as well as many of his beloved friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Gordon Bernard Chopin and Mable Mary Chopin, nee Miller.

Family and friends may visit at Hope Lutheran Church (700 S. Superior St), De Pere, on Monday, November 5, from 4:00pm until 7:00pm with a Memorial Service to follow at 7:00pm. Cotter Funeral Home and Crematory is assisting the family.

In lieu of flowers, Floyd and his family ask that donations be made to The Foundation To Decrease World Suck, Inc. Donations can be made online at the foundation's website, fightworldsuck.org, or in person at the service in the form of cash or checks made payable to Laura E Stevens-Chopin who will be making an online contribution after the service.
