Florence Enz

Florence M. “Flossie” Enz, 92, Denmark, passed away peacefully with family by her side on Sunday, September 02, 2012. She was born September 29, 1919 in Denmark, daughter to the late Henry and Minnie (Hansen) Jensen. Flossie married Loyd Enz in 1938, and together had nine children. They ran two meat markets in Wrightstown and Kewaunee. They moved to Denmark in 1949, where she farmed on the family farm, and worked for Brown County Publishing for 16 years. She was a member of the Denmark VFW Post 6705 Auxiliary, and Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Denmark. Flossie’s pride and joy was her loving family, especially “the little ones.” She loved being outdoors enjoying nature. She loved her gardening, flowers, watching birds and squirrels; she also enjoyed playing cards with her family, especially Skipbo. Flossie will be deeply missed by her nine children and families including her 35 grandchildren, 65 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren, 1 step grandchild, and 2 step great-Grandchildren: Don and Lil Enz and family - Kim and Steve Burda, and Steven and Timothy; Tara and Al Carter, and Lillian and Daphney; Don Jr. and Sara, Drew and Luke; Allen, Morgan and Arianna; Kris Peart, and Jon and Jourdyn, John Ahrens and Levi; Kathy Allison, and Andrew and Morgan; Dan and Tammy, and Seth and Claudia; Kay Lund, and Alexandera and Logan; Dave and Rosie Enz and family - Tina and Doug McKinley, and Nate and Bre; Rosemary and Mike Mathies, and McKenzie, McKayla and McCoy; Susan and Darren Ashley, and Luke, Ali, Olivia and Caleb; Julie and Todd DeGrave; Sara and Nick Kipp, and KaSandra, Isaiah and Ryan; Jenny and Keith Krause, and Ean and Kalea; Debra and Matt Zawalich; Josh and Nataliya, and Anessa and Zezekiah; and Ben Enz; Diane (Doug) Sauermilch and family - Michelle and Mark Simonar, and Samantha, Jacqualine, and Danielle; Tracy and Tim Froelich and T.J., Taylor, Teagan, Teddera, Treyder, Tarrick, Tomelia and Trazden; Penny and Joe Harrison, and Izabel; and Rick Sauermilch; Bill and Kathy Enz and family - Missy and Mark Kolarik, and Marcus, Madi and Mason; Brenda and John Melnarik, and Casey, Autumn, Bayley, and Heather; Lisa and Eric Sinkler, and Alayna, Camden, Gabby, and Lyric; Dawn and Chris Tielens, and Calysta and Dellavyn; Mandie and Jeremy Boushka, and Drew and Anika; Katie and Mitch Decker, and Austin, Veronica, and Gunner; and Brittany Enz and special friend, Joe Bomski; Ed and Mae Enz and family - Tom and Kristy Enz, and Flora, Leo, and Willow; and William E. Enz; Terry and Kim Enz and family - Steve and Lesley Enz, and Ozzie; Anna Enz and special friend Aaron, and Nevaeh; Linda Enz Hetue and fiancé, Ron Seilo; Karen (Don) Anderson and family - Eric Anderson; and Jessica (Craig) Haywood, and Kaden and Aliyana; Kevin and Sharon Enz and family - Tony and Cassie Carter, and Anya; and Tatianna Enz; and a brother-in-law, Norm Sengbusch; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; grandsons, Loyd Enz and Paul Thomas Enz; three brothers and two sisters-in-law: Roy and Grace Jensen, Earl and Emily Jensen, and Lloyd Jensen; and three sisters and two brothers-in-law: Viola and Henry Gauthier, Adeline and Arthur Heinkel, and Marcy Sengbusch. Family and friends may call Wednesday, September 5, 2012 from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Knutson-Cotter Funeral Home, 536 County Rd R, Denmark. Visitation will continue on Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, Denmark, with the Rev. Andrew Zoerb officiating.
