Florence Elizabeth (Baeten) Galkowski

Florence Elizabeth Galkowski, 85, Wrightstown, passed away Monday, July 19, 2010. She was born July 14, 1925 in Wrightstown, daughter of the late Fredrick and Angeline (Schampers) Baeten. She married Casimer Galkowski on November 14, 1946 at St. Paul Catholic Church, Wrightstown, and he preceded her in death on January 15, 1984. She enjoyed crocheting and was a great cribbage player. Florence was a proud member of the Wrightstown American Legion Auxilary. She will be deeply missed by her two daughters, Nancy (Cyril) Leick, and their children: Dan (Tracy) Leick, and Bonnie (Craig) Micke; Linda (Paul) Haen and their children: Brian (Jennifer) Haen, Ben Haen, and Mark (Janet) Haen; four great-grandchildren (2 on the way): Dillan and Rachel, and Lauren and Megan; a sister, Theresa (Marvin) Cootway; a brother, Melvin (Beaty) Baeten; two sisters-in-law, Lilly Golonka and Ann Galkowski; and numerous nieces and nephews. Family and friends may call Thursday, July 22, 2010 from 9:30 a.m. until the hour of Mass at St. Clare Parish-St. Paul Site, Wrightstown. Memorial Mass will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday at church, with Fr. Dennis Bergsbaken officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Cotter Funeral Home, Wrightstown, is assisting the family.
