Eugene Johnson

Eugene Johnson, 90, formerly of Denmark, passed away Wednesday, December 7, 2011. He was born in Denmark, July 21, 1921, son of the late George and Sylvia (Jensen) Johnson. He had worked at Tauber’s Standard Station in Denmark, and at Aspiro in Green Bay earlier in his adult life. He was an active member of Our Savior Lutheran Church, Denmark, and had been an usher for many years. Eugene enjoyed painting and creating crafts, listening to polka music, playing bingo, and dancing. Surviving are many cousins, and special friend, Penny (Tauber) Essig. He is preceded in death by his parents. Relatives and friends may call at Our Savior Lutheran Church, 435 Wisconsin Ave., Denmark, on Saturday, December 10, 2011 from 9:30 to 11:00 am. The funeral service will be conducted at the church on Saturday at 11:00 am with Rev. Andrew Zoerb officiating. Burial in West Danish Cemetery.
