Eugene R. Eisch, age 80, of De Pere, passed away with his family by his side November 3, 2016. The son of the late Robert and Edith (Laskowski) Eisch was born January 10, 1936 in Seymour. Gene graduated from St. Norbert College and served his country in the U.S. Army Reserves for 6 years. He married Patricia Kuhn on June 6, 1959 at St. Mary of the Angels Parish in Green Bay, and together they owned For All Seasons Greenhouse in De Pere for 25 years. Gene was a master gardener and a founding member of the Green Bay Botanical Garden, as well as a member of the De Pere Lions Club for many years. Gene had a deep faith and was an active member of the Catholic community. Survivors include his loving wife Pat; children: Chris (Mark) Bayerl, Rodney and his children Brianna (Simo) and Liam, Jay (Julie) and their children Jayson and Austin; 2 sisters: Carol Hoffman and Ihla (Marty) Zehren; sister-in-law Kay Barlament, as well as nieces, nephews, other family and friends. In addition to his parents, Gene was preceded in death by his brothers-in-law: Don Hoffman and Bill Barlament. Family and friends may visit at Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Parish, 2270 S. Oneida St, Green Bay, on Friday, November 25, from 4:00pm until the hour of the memorial mass at 6:00pm with the Rev. John H. Harper officiating. Burial in Allouez Catholic Cemetery. Cotter Funeral Home and Crematory is assisting the family.
