Eugene (Butch) Carter, 74, Greenleaf, passed away Monday November 6, 2017 surrounded by his loving family. The son of the late Bernard and Bernadine (VanDeWalle) Carter was born August 9, 1943 in Green Bay. Butch married Jackie Clements on January 29, 1966 at St. Mary Catholic Church, Greenleaf. Butch worked at Packerland Packaging as head of maintenance for 16 years, he then worked at Green Bay Dressed Beef for 16 years, he also drove truck for Lyle Schmidt and worked for Ariens Co. from 2000 until retiring in 2004. Butch was an avid deer hunter and fisherman. He loved watching animals and wildlife. He was a talented woodworker making many lawn ornaments. Survivors are his loving wife, Jackie; their children son: Randy (Deana) Carter and their children: Amber, Beau and Cody. Son: Tracy (Sandy) Carter and their children: Hunter, Blake, and Candra. Daughter: Tonia (Terry) Vande Hey and their children: Becky, Brandi, Torry and Dillion. Son: Rob (Cheri) Carter and their children Milissa and Laura. Great Grand Children. Butch’s sisters: Diana Mrozinski, Sue (Joe Schneske, Mary (John) Huth, Tina (Steve) Zelten, Debbie (Andy) Geurts, Rose (Mark) Kowaleski, Trudy (Doug) Haynam. Jackie’s family: Shirley Carlson, Mavis Hansen, Lucille LaFountain, Harriet (Larry) Aschenbach, the late Harry (Betty) Clements, Terry (Mark) Rivard; in-laws: Carl Lawrenz, Dawn (Scott) Sidwell, Judy Carter. Special friend: Sheila (Ken) Hein. His Dogs: Tinker and Tiny. Numerous nieces and nephews. Butch was preceded in death by sons, Eugene Jr., Shawn, Cory, great grandchildren: Alexis and Steven. His siblings: JoAnn Lawrenz, Glenn Carter, Jim Carter, Dave Carter, Alice (Joe) Litersky, Alby Carter. Family and friends may call at St. Clare Catholic Church St. Paul site 437 Main St. Wrightstown on Saturday, November 11, 2017 from 9 until 11:45. Mass of Resurrection will be held at 12 Noon Saturday at the church with Rev Brian Wideman officiating. On-line condolences can be expressed at www.cotterfuneralhome.com. Cotter Funeral Home and Crematory is assisting the Carter family. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established.
