Ethel M. (Arendt) Woldt

Ethel M. Woldt, 73, Green Bay, fell into the arms of Jesus on April 2, 2012 at a local hospital. She was born April 8, 1938 to the late Alois and Martha (Dorner) Arendt. On October 25, 1958, Ethel married Ronald Woldt. He passed away April 11, 1977. She married Robert Krueger on July 31, 1981. Ethel worked at ATT for over 30 years. She loved life and enjoyed bowling, golfing, fishing on Green Bay, and spending time at her cottage. She loved playing Yahtzee and cards with her family, friends and neighbors. Ethel also volunteered for many years in the Guardianship Program for Brown County. Surviving are her husband, Robert; a son, Sheldon; step-sons: Richard (Deborah), Daniel (Dena), Dave, Jeffrey (Victoria), Randall (Theresa), and James; grandchildren: Sebastian, Celia, and Laura, and their mother Anne Remien; step-grandchildren: Kaitlin, Kalan, Dustin, Andrew, Erin, Matthew, Megan, Cody, and McKayla; sisters: Amanda, Virginia, Sharon (Ellis); brothers: Anthony (Georgia), John (Francine) and Grant (Jeanne) Arendt; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Woldt; a sister, Catherine; brothers: Alois, Jr. and Kenneth; and brothers-in-law, Neil and Ronald. The Memorial Service for Ethel Woldt will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 15, 2012 at First Ev. Lutheran Church, 743 S. Monroe Ave., Green Bay, with Rev. Paul Schleis officiating. Relatives and friends may call at the church on Sunday from 12:30 p.m. until the time of the service. Cotter Funeral Home Cremation Services, De Pere, is assisting the family. Online condolences may be expressed at www.cotterfuneralhome.com. In lieu of expressions of sympathy, a memorial fund has been established in Ethel’s name. The family wishes to thank Aurora Bay Care Hospital for all the love and care shown to her during her stay.
