Eleanor M. (Riha) Siebold, 89, Denmark, was called to eternal life on Monday evening, July 26, 2010. She was born to Joseph and Mary (Schultz) Riha on June 17, 1921. She married William Siebold, Sr. on November 22, 1938. Together they were cheesemakers and farmers. He preceded her in death on May 26, 1965. Eleanor worked at K-Mart for 20 plus years before her retirement. She was a member of St. James Catholic Church, Cooperstown, and the Christian Mother Altar Society. She was a loving and wonderful mother. Her family loved her Bohemian cooking and baking, especially her kolaches, at the annual holiday gathering on Easter and Christmas. She is survived by 5 daughters, 2 sons, their children and families: Janice (Paul) Jirikovec, Maribel, Mark Jirikovec and Barb and Charlee Ann Barton, Denmark; Sue (Michael) Gaworek, Greta, Milena, Michaela, Denmark, David Jirikovec, Maribel; Joann (George) Raymaker, Green Bay, Dan (Maggie) Raymaker, Algoma, Tyler and Jessica, Green Bay, Kathy (Lou) Minicozzi, Henderson, NV; Dorothy (Leonard) Jirikovec, Denmark, Stacie (Dean) Oswald, Brett, Devon, Savannah, Maribel; William Siebold Jr. and special friend Karen Kohn, Denmark, Brian Siebold, Denmark, Debbie (Kelly) Grenier and Tanner, Maribel, Brad (Melanie) Siebold, Jace and Adler, Pulaski; Linda (Dick) Schlies, Denmark, Chris (Anne) Schlies and Caroline, Greenleaf, Brenda Schlies and special friend Nick DeYoung, Green Bay; Tom (Susie) Siebold, Maribel, Patrick (Jenny) Siebold, Madison; Mary (Mark) VandenLangenberg, Denmark, and children: Neil (Nina), Ashton, Celeste, and baby on the way, De Pere, Nathan and fiancée, Liza Brown, Casco, Nicole and special friend Bryce Coleman, De Pere, Natalie, Denmark and special friend Ryan Doering, Green Bay. In-laws, Frank Siebold, Kewaunee, Lillian Siebold, Kewaunee, and Leona Riha, De Pere; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Sr, daughter-in-law, Gloria Siebold, grandson, Rick Raymaker, parents Joseph and Mary Riha, 2 sisters and 1 brother, Lucille (Ervin) Sinkula, Helen (Victor) Paider, Arthur Riha. Father and mother-in-law, Paul and Anna Siebold. In-laws, Paul (Lucy) Siebold, Adam (Julia) Siebold, Katie (Joseph) Shusta Sr, John (Tillie) Siebold, Joseph (Marie) Siebold, Edward (Gertie) Siebold, James Siebold Sr, Victor (Clara) Siebold, Rose (Albert) Schlies, Anna (Steve) Tikalsky, Emily (Earl) Jensen, George Siebold. Family and friends may call Friday, July 30, 2010 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at ALL SAINTS CATHOLIC CHURCH, Denmark, where there will be a Parish Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will continue on Saturday at KNUTSON-COTTER FUNERAL HOME, 536 Cty R, Denmark, from 9:00 a.m. until procession leaves for ST. JAMES CATHOLIC CHURCH, COOPERSTOWN. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 a.m. Saturday at ST. JAMES CATHOLIC CHURCH, COOPERSTOWN, with Fr. Ron Colombo officiating.
