Eleanor M. Gottier

Eleanor Margaret Gottier, 87, Allouez, passed away Sunday, August 18, 2013 at her home. She was born in Shawano on July 25, 1926, to the late Joseph and Catherine (Karstedt) Sacotte. Eleanor was a 1940 graduate of SS Peter and Paul Catholic Grade School and a 1944 graduate of Green Bay East High School. On October 20, 1945 she married Stanley J. Gottier at SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church and he preceded her in death on October 9, 2010. Eleanor’s working career was with Brown County, retiring as Deputy in the Clerk of Courts Department. She was a longtime member of St. Mary Catholic Community, De Pere. Survivors include her sister-in-law, Delores June Peters; brother-in-law, Jacob Dorner; and many loving nieces, nephews and special friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley; sister, Mary Dorner; brother and sisters-in-law, Joseph Jr. (Phyllis) Sacotte; Gerald (Beatrice) Lasee; Clayton Peters; Glenn (Joan) Gottier; Howard (Florence) Gottier; Mildred (Leonard) Hickey and Elaine (Clifford) Wallen. Family and friends may call Saturday, August 24, 2013 from 9:30 a.m. until the hour of Memorial Mass at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, 4805 Sportsman Drive, Ledgeview, with Fr.
