Elaine M (Orde) Reisinger

Elaine M. (Orde) Reisinger, 91, De Pere, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 20, 2010 at Angel’s Touch Assisted Living. She was born November 15, 1918 in Green Bay to the late Alex and Louise (Cleerman) Orde. On July 16, 1938 Elaine married George J. Reisinger, at St. John the Evangelist Church in Green Bay. They celebrated 37 years together before George passed away on December 1, 1975. After raising 3 children, Elaine served for 27 years as circulation manager for the Compass Newspaper of the Green Bay Diocese. She was a very proud, classy lady, and always impeccably dressed. Elaine was generous in showing her kindness and assistance to others. She thoroughly enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and especially adored her granddaughter, Jen and great-granddaughter, Megan. Elaine is survived by two children: Tom Reisinger, Hartford, WI; Julie Reisinger, Green Bay; daughter-in-law, Millie Reisinger, Northbrook IL; granddaughter, Jennifer (Rob) Szostak, Lake Forest, IL; great-grandaughter, Megan Szostak; brother-in-law, Bernard Weinert, Glenview, IL; special nephew, Mickey (Irene) Orde, Ashwaubenon; and many other nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, George; her parents; a son, Paul; brother, Louis Orde; and sisters, Myrtle Van Donsel and Bertha Follett. Family and friends may call Friday, July 23, 2010 from 9:30a.m. until 11:00a.m. at Resurrection Catholic Church, 333 Hilltop Dr., Green Bay. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the church on Friday at 11:00a.m. with Bishop Robert Morneau officiating. Cotter Funeral Home is assisting the family.
