Elaine G Krueger

Elaine Krueger, age 88 of Denmark, passed away on April 19, 2019. She was born on November 5, 1930 in Green Bay to the late Walter and Gladys (Yager) Radue. She graduated high school and went on to receive her teaching certificate from Manitowoc Teachers College in 1950. On July 31, 1954 Elaine married August Krueger. She taught school for about six years, until she stopped working to stay home to raise her children and help work the family farm. Elaine and August loved to travel and spend time at their cabin in Pembine. She loved animals and enjoyed caring for all the animals on the farm. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family.
She is survived by her sons; Mark (Marianne), Kevin (Pam) and Richard (Cindy), grandchildren; Anne, Benjamin, Chad (special friend Allie Fels), Brady, Max, Tracy, Chris (Courtney), Ashley (special friend Jake Mancoske) and Jesse and she was anxiously awaiting her first great grandchild due in September. Elaine is further survived by her sisters, Audrey Reckelberg and Joanne (Myron) Shimanek, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Preceding her in death are her parents, her husband, August and brother in law, Fritz Reckelberg.
Family and friends may gather from 4:00pm to 8:00pm, Tuesday, April 23, 2019 at Cotter Funeral Home, 536 County Rd R, Denmark. Visitation continues Wednesday, April 24, 2019 at 9:00am to 10:45am, at Our Savior Lutheran Church, 435 Wisconsin Ave, Denmark a funeral service will follow at 11:00am with Rev.
