Eileen M. (Martens) Longlais

Eileen Longlais, 94, De Pere, passed away on Wednesday, August 30, 2017. The daughter of the late August “Bud” and Minerva (Campbell) Martens was born on September 8, 1922 in De Pere. Eileen married Ellsworth (Al) Longlais on August 29, 1942. She was a 1940 graduate of De Pere High School. She was an active member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, De Pere. Eileen and Al had seven children: Linda, who passed away at birth; Judy (Lynn) Baumann; Larry (Bobbie) Longlais; Jerry (Mary) Longlais; Douglas (Mary Ann) Longlais; Jeff (Tammy) Longlais; Sue (Jeff) Schneider; grandchildren: Richard (Shannon), Andrew, Christopher (Heather), Amber (Chad), Brett, Adam (Jenny), Katie (Jesse), Mary (Steve), Andrea (Mark), Jami, Michael, Sandra, Jesse, Dawn, Nicole (Pat), Jared, Nicholas, Danielle; 20 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews; special friend, Kathy Pelletier. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Al on October 28, 1999, and a daughter, Linda. Family and friends may visit at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 220 S. Michigan Ave, De Pere, on Saturday, September 2, from 9:00am until 10:45am. A Mass of Christian Burial for Eileen will be celebrated at 11:00am with Fr. Binu Varghese, O.Praem, officiating.
