Edith E. (Bruecker) Nytes, 96, Kaukauna, passed away peacefully Friday, August 27, 2010. She was born February 20, 1914 in Dundas, WI to the late John and Mary (Huss) Bruecker. On May 30, 1939 Edith married Aloysius A. Nytes and they celebrated 63 years of marriage together before Aloys passed away on July 2, 2002. She spent 67 years on the family farm where she and Aloys raised their five children. Edith loved playing the piano and spent many years singing in the St. Paul Martha Choir. She was a long time member of St. Paul Catholic Church, Wrightstown. Survivors include her 5 children: Allan (Bernice) Nytes, Mackville; Robert Nytes, Chicago; Jerry (Joan) Nytes, Kaukauna; John (Sandee) Nytes, Appleton; and Mary Ann (Tom) Nettekoven, Kaukauna; 11 grandchildren: Shila (Tony) Grossman, Lynn (Mark) Schwalbach, Karen (Jon) Hendricks, Dan (Shelly) Nytes, Andrew Wellens, Lisa (Joel) Janssen, Penni (Mark) Kramer, Laurie (Steve) Friday, Kathy Kierszh, Janine Nytes, and Tim Nettekoven; 14 great-grandchildren; and sister-in-law, Clara Rademacher, Hollandtown. She was preceded in death by her husband Aloysius; her parents; grandson, Chad Nettekoven; 4 brothers: George (Ceil), Raymond, William (Emma), and Arthur (Janet); and 8 sisters: Gertrude (Henry) Haen, Min (Joseph) Schneider, Julitta (Paul) Bosch, Olga (Bernard) Brochtrup, Ann Bruecker, Rose (Elmer) Broeren, Lucina (Sylvan) Bodoh, and Alvira Bruecker. Family and friends may call on Monday, August 30, 2010 at St. Clare Parish/St. Paul Site, 437 Main Street, Wrightstown from 9:30a.m. until 10:45a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the church on Monday at 11:00a.m. with the Rev.
