Douglas "Doug" Tauber

Douglas K. “Doug” Tauber, age 67, of Denmark, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 5, 2018 at a local hospital. The son of the late Richard Sr. and Georgien (Nitz) was born on July 3, 1950 in Green Bay. He graduated from Denmark High School and went on to work with his father at Youra & Tauber Motor Company, was a mechanic and operator for the Denmark Press, and worked at Palubicki’s. He was a self-less person, which was exemplified by his caring for his mother after retirement and the way he fought his illness without complaint. Doug will be remembered as a caring brother, son and friend- those he leaves behind will always love and never forget him.

His sister, Linda, survives him. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Rick.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 11, at Cotter Funeral Home-Denmark Chapel, 536 Cty Rd R, Denmark, from 10am until noon. A military tribute will follow at noon to honor Doug’s service to our country in the U.S. Army, and his membership in the Denmark VFW.
