Dorothy D. Zelten, 87, De Pere, passed away peacefully with her children at her side on Thursday, May 3, 2012. Dorothy is the daughter of the late James and Mathilda (DuChateau) Smith, born May 21, 1924 in Green Bay. She was married to the late Al Zelten. Dorothy was the manager of the children’s department of The Lee Store for many years. She was also a member St. Mary Catholic Church, De Pere and the Christian Ladies Society. Dorothy’s greatest joy was her family. She is survived by her children, Robert (Susan) Zelten, (Wayne, PA), and Jeanne Beno-Dea (Oak Forest, IL); grandchildren, Lori (Chris) Phillips, Matthew Zelten, Joan (Daryl) Rothmund, Luke (Stacey) Zelten, Tim (Jodi) Beno, and Chuck (Amy) Beno; 7 great-grandchildren; her special sister Mary Rowe; special sister-in-law, Angeline Grohusky; and numerous nieces and nephews. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Al; son, Alan and 2 infant daughters, Mary and Theresa. Family and Friends may call at Cotter Funeral Homes and Cremation Services, 860 N. Webster Ave. De Pere, on Sunday, May 6, 2012 from 2:00p.m. until 6:00p.m. A parish prayer service will be held at 6:00p.m. with Pastoral Minister Steve Donovan officiating. Visitation continues at St. Mary Catholic Church, 4805 Sportsman Dr., Ledgeview, on Monday, May 7, 2012 after 10:00a.m. followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. with Rev.
