Doris Boucher

February 12, 1924 — September 3, 2018

Doris B. Boucher, age 94, of De Pere, entered into eternal life on Monday, September 3, 2018. The daughter of the late Milton and Pearl (Tuyls) Davis was born February 12, 1924 in Green Bay. Doris married Howard Boucher on May 8, 1948 at Annunciation Catholic Church in Green Bay.

Doris loved working in her yard, especially with her flowers; and was able to do this well into her 90s. While playing bridge for many years, she made some life-long friends, especially: Shirley, Mary and Sally, who kept playing with her even when she had a hard time seeing and hearing. You three made it possible to enjoy something she loved as long as she possibly could. Doris set a beautiful dinner table, and was a great cook. She would decorate her home for every holiday and enjoyed sharing it with her friends and family.

Doris was blessed to have made new friends in the last year of her life at Age Well, especially close friends: Barb, Rose and Penny. Doris leaves behind a good friend Dave Spiering- thanks Dave for your loving friendship and companionship to Doris and Howard through the years.

Survivors include her children: Nancy (Mark) Gezella and Ken (Cathy) Boucher; two grandsons: Mark Gezella II and Tony Gezella; sisters: Marian (Matt) Schoepp, Carole (Norel) Schaut, cousin Dorothy Kirschbraun, daughter-in-law Donna Boucher; sister-in-law: Rita Duben, nieces, nephews and many loving friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard, son John, brothers: Robert (Theresa) Davis and Don Davis.

Family and friends may visit at Cotter Funeral Home, 860 N Webster Ave, De Pere, on Thursday, September 6, from 5-7pm. Visitation will continue on Friday, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 220 S. Michigan St., De Pere, from 9:30am until 10:45am.
