Donna Marie (Selner) Whitcomb

Donna M. Whitcomb, 70, De Pere, passed away on Tuesday, February 23, 2016. The daughter of the late William and Alice (Jisa) Selner was born on February 28, 1945. She married Robert Whitcomb on September 23, 1972 at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Stangelville. They were members of St. Mary Catholic Church in Ledgeview. Donna was a graduate of Kewaunee High School. She loved gardening, sewing, cooking, traveling, crafting, and spending time with family and friends. She is survived by her husband, Robert; daughter, Carleen (Chris) VanDenBusch; grandchildren, Steve and Brianna VanDenBusch; three brothers: Joe (Barb) Selner, Dan (Chris) Selner, Roger Selner; two sisters: Karen Selner, Deb (Chris) Langenhuizen; two sisters-in-law; Joan Selner, Barbara Whitcomb; nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, Donna is preceded in death by Robert’s parents; Ken (Clara) Whitcomb; brother, William Selner; niece, Dawn Selner. Family and friends may visit St. Mary Catholic Church, 4805 Sportsman Road, Ledgeview, on Friday, February 26, 2016 from 9:00 am to 10:45 am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am with Fr. Judah Pigon, MF officiating, and Rev. John H. Harper, homilist. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery, De Pere.
