Donna Magness, 73, died peacefully Tuesday afternoon, July 24, after a long illness.
The daughter of Robert and Claire (Grotelueschen) La Luzerne, was born August 29, 1944.
She was a 1962 graduate of East Green Bay high school. After graduating high school she attended UW, Green Bay Center, (the forerunner of UWGB) for 2 years then went on to graduate from United Airlines Stewardess school and flew throughout the United States.

Donna lived most of the last 52 years in the Seattle WA area.
She was the founder and Name behind Donna's Truck Stop in Marysville WA, which has been in operation for 31 years and is still run by her first husband and son. Donna also worked at Tulalip Casino for nearly 10 years where she was well liked and made many lasting friendships before her retirement. Donna was able to fly to China to meet her son-in-laws parents and family, which she enjoyed.

Donna is survived by her first husband William Couch and their daughter, Michele (Xiao) Lin, grandchildren, Brooks, Talon and Anya, and their son Brian Couch.(Melonie) step grandson Isaiah. Stepchildren Shara (Jon) Mortimer, grandchildren Schuyler and Teagan. and Kenneth Magness. She is also survived by four brothers and one sister, James (Sandra), Gerry (Terrie), Robin, Paul, Mark (Mary). She was preceded in death by her parents, her second husband Darrell Magness, brother Jeff (Stephaney) and sister Marcia (Doug)
Thompson.

She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and their children.

Her grandchildren also want to say she was sweet and thoughtful and loving.

There will not be a public showing, but condolences can be sent to Cotter Funeral home.
