Donald "Donvis" Kuchenbecker

Donald “Donvis” Kuchenbecker, 68, Denmark, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 7, 2017 surrounded by his loving family. The son of the late Ervin and Norma (Schneider) Kuchenbecker was born on May 24, 1949. Don was employed by the Manitowoc Company for 25 years. On June 3, 1972, he married Julie Hansen at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Denmark. They celebrated 45 wonderful years of marriage. Don enjoyed hunting and fishing and watching sports on T.V. He also enjoyed spoiling his grand-furbabies, Tanner and Angel. He is survived by his wife, Julie; children: Stacy and her son, Josh Carter; Steve (Jennie) and their daughter, Mikayla; sister, Nancy (John) Burda; brother, Bobby Kuchenbecker, MO; sister-in-law, Meryl (Glen) Parizek; brother-in-laws, Keith (Carol) Hansen; Neal (Karen) Hansen; Darrel (Kay) Hansen; Harris Schlies; nieces, nephews, and friends. In addition to his parents, Don was preceded in death by his brother, Gene Kuchenbecker; father-in-law, Norman Hansen; sister-in-law, Pauline Schlies; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Family and friends may visit at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, 435 Wisconsin Ave, Denmark, on Tuesday, September 12, from 3:00pm until 5:45pm. The Funeral Service for Don will be celebrated at 6:00pm with Rev. Andy Zoerb officiating. Cotter Funeral Home of Denmark is assisting the family with arrangements.
