Dolores (Nell) Seymour

Dolores N. Seymour, 88, Allouez, passed away on Sunday, November 6, 2016, surrounded by the love of her family. She was born on June 6, 1928 in Green Bay to the late Henry and Pauline (Schroeder) Nell. A 1946 graduate of Green Bay East High School. On May 27, 1950 she married Ernest C. Seymour at Grace Lutheran Church in Green Bay. Before starting their family, she worked at Dunn and Bradstreet, after which, she dedicated herself to the love and care of her husband, children and grandchildren. She enjoyed searching for and collecting beautiful antiques, traveling to Europe, especially London. Countless hours were spent involved in many community organizations, including; Green Bay De Pere Antiquarian Society, PEO Sisterhood Chapter DE, Brown County Historical Society, Heritage Hill State Park, Board of Directors of the YWCA. She was also a member of the Lady Bug Garden Club due to her passion and love of gardening. Dolores gained the respect and admiration of those she encountered and the love of all who knew her. Dolores is survived by her children, Amy (Don “Gunnar”) Letourneau; David Seymour; grandchildren, Ashley and Evan Letourneau; sister-in-law, Betty (Alfred) Wasleske; other relatives and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest on April 24, 2012 and her sister, Dorothy (Robert) Devereaux. Family and friends may call at Cotter Funeral Home, 860 N. Webster Ave., De Pere, on Saturday, November 12, 2016 from Noon to 2:00pm. A funeral service will be at 2:00pm at the funeral home with Rev. Lori Swenson officiating. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery.
