Dolores Mary (Servais) Pytlak

Dolores M. Pytlak, 87 formerly of Green Bay passed away Wednesday August 15, 2012, peacefully at the Benedictine Living Community in St. Peter, Minnesota. Dolores was born June 4, 1925 to the late Peter and Ophelia (Gajewski) Servais. She graduated from St. Joseph Academy in 1943 and St. Mary’s School of Nursing in 1946. Dolores was married to Edward (Bud) Pytlak, Jr. on December 26, 1946 at St. Francis Xavier Cathedral, Green Bay. Together they had three children; Paul, Mary, and Peter. As a RN Dolores worked at St. Vincent and Bellin Hospitals, was a private duty nurse, and finished her nursing career as a public health nurse with the City of Green Bay. Dolores and Bud celebrated 60 years of marriage in 2006. Dolores had a passion for travelling, wild flowers, swimming, walks, and time spent with family and friends. She will be sadly missed and is survived by children - Paul (Irma) Pytlak, Clovis, CA; Mary Claire Pytlak-Hills (Tim), San Antonio, TX; Peter (Julie) Pytlak, Mankato, MN. Grandchildren – Rebecca Duchateau, Green Bay, Adam Duchateau, Green Bay, Alexandra Pytlak, Clovis, CA, Katherine Pytlak, Richfield, MN, Rachel Pytlak, Minneapolis, MN, Jonathan Pytlak, Mankato, MN., Greatgrandson - Ethan Duchateau, Oshkosh, WI. She is also survived by her sister Phyllis Nocenti, Green Bay. Dolores was preceded in death by husband Edward (Bud) Pytlak. A visitation of friends and family will be held at Resurrection Catholic Church, 333 Hilltop Drive, Allouez, WI on Saturday, August 25 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. A memorial Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated following at 11:00 a.m. Entombment in the Allouez Mausoleum. The family would also like to extend a special thanks to the staff at the Benedictine Living Community in St. Peter, MN and the Mayo Clinic Health System Hospice staff who provided such wonderful care for Dolores.
