Dennis Michael Novicki, age 76, of Allouez, died unexpectedly in a local hospital on Thursday, December 17, 2015. The son of Michael and Evelyn (Staub) Novicki was born August 3, 1939. Dennis received his B.A. from the University of Nebraska and married Lois Muhle on September 22, 1962 in Columbus, Nebraska. Before retirement in 2002, Dennis worked as the director of human resources for Georgia Pacific. He was a member of the Allouez Ethics Board and Resurrection Catholic Parish, and he enjoyed hunting, fishing, bird carving and trap shooting. Surviving Dennis is his wife, Lois; daughter Kim (M.C.) Gainey of Van Nuys, CA; son Eric (Kori) Novicki and their children Daniel and Rachel of Sheboygan, WI and a brother Joe (Cyndi) of Fullerton, NE. In addition to his parents, Michael and Evelyn, Dennis was preceded in death by a brother Ron Novicki. Family and friends may visit at Cotter Funeral Home, 860 N. Webster Avenue, De Pere, on Monday, December 21, from 4-7pm with a parish prayer service at 6:30pm. Visitation will continue on Tuesday at Resurrection Catholic Parish, 333 Hilltop Drive, Allouez, from 10:00 until 10:45am. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00am Tuesday with Bishop Robert Morneau officiating. Dennis was loved and respected by all who knew him. He will be spending his first Christmas in heaven with family and friends.
