David Rheingans

David Paul Rheingans, 63, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 5th after battling cancer for 11 months. He was born February 1, 1960, to Pauline and Donald Rheingans.

He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing with friends, deer hunting with his son, Dylan, in Door County, and riding his Harley. He enjoyed moose and bear hunting in Canada and also an elk hunting trip to New Mexico. He loved riding his Harley with friends and supported Harley benefit rides in Brown County. He also enjoyed Packers football games.

David will be sadly missed by family and friends. His family includes son, Dylan; sisters, Donna (Jeff) Westphal, Diane (Brian) Olivi, and Doreen Rheingans. Also, his brother, Daryl (Rhonda) Rheingans and sister-in-law, Julie Rheingans. He was uncle to Darla, Dale, Dharma, Alex, Luke, Chandra, Derek, and Nicholas. A great uncle to Hannah, Tyler, Mandy, Christopher, Brittney, Brandon, Daniel, Dezi, and Laylanna. And also, a great-great uncle to Landon, Elaina, McKenna and Kesley; life-long friends Tom, John, and Jayne; and also all of his friends and co-workers at ASL.

David was preceded in death by his parents, his daughter, Christine and brothers Dale and Don.

There will be a private memorial gathering at a future date with the family in May.

The family would like to thank the staff on the 8th floor of Bellin Hospital and Unity Hospice for the exceptional care that David received while there.
