David Nathan Classon

July 11, 1976 — June 8, 2021

On May 29, 2021, we lost our David Nathan Classon at the age of 44.
We are steeping in our memories of you, Dave. Your craft transcends your beautiful art. You had
the gift of cultivating relationships, inspiring conversation, asking questions, stirring laughter,
and making unique observations of life. We have composed only a small collection of our
memories and sentiments to share with your people. And to showcase to those who had not yet
met you.
He always brought a smile to my face, I loved his energy.
Dave always asked where I was catching fish, he was at home in nature.
Picking out our very first Christmas Tree.
Snapping pictures of your butt with my disposable camera.
I was the little sister he never wanted.
His impact sends huge ripples through our worlds.
Hot Richard
And there were times he would write secret messages to Uncle Steve and me.
I will miss Dewey.
Dave was my loyal protector.
It was a vehicle. It was lehicle. It was shmehicle. It was just a car...ar...ar...ar. (First verse)
Quinn would practice “Butts up” on his bike so he could be like Dave.
Dave was Mr. Kasoogi.
Look, it’s you! You love it so much.
He would keep me around by starting conversations and I would stay to talk.
I know. I know you know I know.
Getting lost while cross-country skiing.
New Years Eve puzzling, campfire talks, singing, and laughing.
Love affair with Izzy the dog.
Dave was my first love.
Your tractor's sexy.
Dave walked with purpose, every step was with intention, conversations were deep.
Beaver Foam
Dave delighted our parents and made them infinitely proud and happy.
Going back to Shopko.
What if???
He was a believer in magic and infinite possibilities.
Jon Jovi
Pongie
Dave brought a flavor to this world that is so needed.
Prune Tang
Chanj. Pachangi, whoop, snicky, look fer my frarmer and tell me about his hammer, also I want
to tell you I love you brother...so I will...I love you.
It was great to reconnect with you at the Lorelei.
Love you, Big Shooter. I know.
Within these lines, there is joy and meaning for all who knew him. Others can glean the shimmer
Dave spread in the spaces he filled. It was quiet. Sometimes it wasn’t. It was always
magnificent.
