David M. Stencil, 56, Denmark , passed away Wednesday, June 23, 2010 at a local hospital, following a courageous four year battle with cancer. Dave was a natural businessman with great integrity and he worked very hard. He will be remembered for being honest and was well respected by all who knew him. Dave enjoyed politics, and loved to debate any topic. His interests led him into leadership positions on the Denmark School Board, Denmark Cooperative, several positions on the Holy Trinity-Pine Grove Council, and the Glenmore Zoning Board. Every year, Dave and his friends and family orchestrated the Pine Grove Tabernacle Choir, singing Christmas carols to close friends and neighbors. He was an avid Packer and Brewer fan, and he also enjoyed playing volleyball. He had a great sense of humor and wit, and leaves a legacy of wisdom, love and laughter. Dave leaves behind his loving wife of 27 years, Shelley; three children: Chad Stencil, Elliot Stencil, Kaila Stencil; one sister, Kathy Eisenschink; nephews, Bill (Victoria) Stencil, Andy (Lisa) Stencil, Tony (Sarah) Stencil, who all worked closely with Dave in the business; step-mother, Rose Stencil; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ed and Angie DeChamps; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Mary (Dave) Knoll, Chris Stencil, Dennis (Sherry) DeChamps, Randy (Bonnie) DeChamps, Lynn (special friend-Alonzo Villarreal) DeChamps; other nieces and nephews; and his best friend, Ken Baeten.
