It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of David (Potty) Paul Heindel, a beloved father, grandfather, friend, and Master Interior Designer. David passed away peacefully in his home in De Pere, WI on March 7, 2023 at the age of 90.

David was Born in Kaukauna, WI on February 10th 1933, Graduated Kaukauna High School in 1951, he was the life of every party and able to put a smile on everyone’s face, he loved following his Kaukauna Alumni. David had an innate talent for design and an eye for detail from a young age. David's career spanned more than six decades, during which he created breathtakingly beautiful spaces that were both functional and aesthetically pleasing with his dear friend and partner Michael Kuemmel (Heindel-Kimmel Interior Designs). David was known for his ability to transform any space into a work of art, and his designs were admired by many.

David's greatest achievement, however, was his family. David Married Evelyn Rose (Pellegrini) Heindel, in the summer of 1960, Evelyn passed 35 years ago on the same day March 7, 1988. He was a devoted father who always put his children first, and his love for them was unconditional. He was a constant in their lives, and his kindness, wisdom, and guidance will be deeply missed.

David leaves behind his three children, Lisa Heindel-Nelson, Laura Heindel and Jon Heindel, three grandchildren, Chase, Morgan and London Heindel, Daughter in Law Mindy Heindel, Brother Tom Heindel, as well so many special nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives he loved dearly and who will cherish his memory forever. He will also be remembered by his many friends and colleagues in the design industry, who have been inspired by his creativity and talent.

David's legacy will live on through his designs and the impact he had on the people he touched. He will always be remembered as a kind, generous, and talented man who brought beauty and joy into the world.
