Darlene Marie (Jensen) Johnson

Darlene M. Johnson’s life came full circle as she passed at her home at the age of 71 in Maribel on Friday, October 28, 2016. This was only a few miles from where her life began. Darlene was born in Rosecrans to Earl and Emily Jensen (Siebold) on September 21, 1945. In the tiny white house already overflowing with children, Darlene went to work at a young age living and working at different farms. She married Bernard Stelmach in 1962 at St. Cyril and Methodius Church in Eaton. Together they had one child, Todd Stelmach and then divorced. Darlene was then married to Lowell Johnson and had two children, Mike and Christie Johnson. Darlene lived in many states and traveled the world returning to Maribel in 1994. Darlene is survived by her children Todd (Diane) Stelmach, grandchildren Cody (Danielle) Stelmach, Miranda Stelmach; Mike (Mindy) Johnson, grandchildren Averie and Rheis Johnson and Christie (Jason Stein) Johnson, grandson Jayden Lee. In addition she is survived by her brothers and sisters that include: Kenneth (Faye) Jensen, Green Bay; Merlin (Sandra) Jensen, Maribel; Judy Le Mense, Maribel; Earl Jr. (Charmaine) Jensen, Arizona; Dale Jensen, Green Bay; Roger (Bonnie) Jensen, De Pere; Nancy Kane, Maribel; Barbara (Steve) Rosner, Green Bay; Christine (Steve) Servais, Green Bay; Janet (Jim) Kinjerski, Denmark; Randy (Annette) Jensen, Green Bay; and many, many nieces and nephews. Darlene was preceded in death by her infant brother, Maynard and parents Earl Jensen and Emily (Siebold) Jensen. Friends and family may visit at Cotter Funeral Home – Denmark Chapel, 536 Cty Rd R, Denmark, on Wednesday, November 2, from 3:00pm until 7:00pm.
