Daniel Eiting, age 59 of Wrightstown, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at St. Vincent Hospital, Green Bay as a result of ongoing health concerns. He was born on April 13, 1959 to Roger and the late Janice (Klister) Eiting in Kaukauna. On November 29, 1980 he married Judy Van De Loo at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Kaukauna. Dan was a truck driver, driving semi-trailers for Gene Frederickson for many years, hauling for the PCB clean-up of the Fox River. In his spare time, he was always tinkering with motors or anything else that needed fixing. He loved camping in his motorhome and traveling, especially trips to Upper Michigan, Kentucky and South Dakota.
He is survived by his wife, Judy, children; Nick (Jessica) Eiting, Kelly (John) Bezecny and Curtis Eiting, his canine children; Squeakers and Whiskey, grandchildren; Zander, Brailynn and Aiden, his father, Roger Eiting, brothers and sister; Dave (Laurie) Eiting, Dennis (Annette) Eiting and Carol (Special friend Keith Schmidt) Vande Hey. Aunt, Yvonne (Gaylen) La Brec and uncle, Darrell Klister. Dan is further survived by brothers and sisters in law; Peggy (Mark) Lasee, John (Anne) Van De Loo, Mary (Dan) Geurts, Tom (Eileen Reuden) Van De Loo, Patti (Marvin) Vosters, Diane (Craig) Sampson, Paul (Molly) Van De Loo, David (Tamara) Van De Loo, Ann (Mike) Ryan and Robert (Lisa) Van De Loo as well as several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Preceding him in death are his mother, Janice, his in laws, Robert and Della Van De Loo, his grandparents, Nellie and Clarence Eiting and Norbert and Angenie Klister, as well as his uncles, Kenny Klister and Marlen Klister.
Family and friends may gather on Monday, October 15, 2018 at St. Clare Catholic Church, St Paul Site, 437 Main Street, Wrightstown from 1:00 pm to 4:30 pm, with the funeral mass to follow at 5:00 pm with Rev. Willie Van De Loo officiating. Cotter Funeral Home and Crematory is assisting the family. Online condolences can be made at www.cotterfuneralhome.com.
