Daniel J. Sr. Peltier

Daniel J. Peltier Sr., 65, formerly of Green Bay, WI, suddenly passed away January 25, 2014 in Benton, AK. He was born November 26, 1948 in Madison, WI to the late Rosemary (Peltier) Swan and the late Daniel Joseph Peltier. Dan graduated from Abbot Pennings High School in 1966, and then joined the United States Air Force May of 1967. After serving in the Vietnam War and spending several years stationed in England, he retired from the Air Force in May 1987. Dan was very active with his local VFW post as well as the Disabled American Veterans office. Dan is survived by his loving wife, Brigitte Peltier; his daughter, Lori (Peltier) Hansen and his son, Daniel (Andrea) Peltier; four grandchildren, Daniel Peltier, Morgan Hansen, William Peltier and Rosalie Peltier. He is also survived by his sisters, Jean Peltier, Jill (Tom) Hasseler, Michele Peltier, Lisa (Ed) Miller, Mary Morrison and Amy (Tom) Ihde; as well as many other family members and friends. Dan was preceded in death by his Granddaughter, Hannah Mae Peltier. Private family services and inurnment will be held at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery at a later date.
