Daniel C. Jackl, 62, Green Bay, passed away Wednesday, June 12, 2013 at a local hospital with his family by his side after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born December 21, 1950 in Menominee, Michigan, son of the late Amel Jackl and Gloria Chernetski. He attended schools in Menominee and graduated from Cannon High School on Midway Island in 1969. He attended college at Tidewater Community College in Virginia Beach, Virginia. After college, he moved back to the Marinette/Menominee area then finally to De Pere, WI. He was very strong willed; working up until a week before his death. He was very humorous, loved joking around and he enjoyed cribbage, computers, and his cat Lucy. He is survived by fiancée: June Jabas; sons: Michael Jackl, Matthew Kispert; granddaughter; Sytara Barlament; former wife: Mary Schuning, and other family and close friends. Visitation will be on Saturday, June 15, 2013 from 2-3 p.m. with a 3 p.m. memorial service at Cotter Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 860 N. Webster Ave, De Pere with Rev.
