Dan Grassl

Daniel Edward Grassl, age 67, of De Pere, died Tuesday, November 18, 2014 at home surrounded by family. Dan was born June 27, 1947, in Stratford, WI to Harold and Eleanor Grassl. He married Cathy Knaapen on May 30, 1970 and they raised their family in De Pere. He is survived by his wife, Cathy, and their children: Erin and Brad and their children Elliott and Stella, Dan and Andie and their children Garrett, Graham, and Luke, and Shannon and Susan and their son Charlie. Dan: goldsmith, artist, craftsman, always buying a [television/camera/car/cd/movie/LEGO set/computer], musician, Brass Factory, overboard with community bands, DePere-ian, beer connoisseur and hophead, carnivore, chili addict, Liberal, constantly taking photos, car enthusiast who loved the races, audiophile, hoarder of great music, collector of friends of all kinds, a kind soul. Following a private service, relatives and friends are welcome to visit on Saturday, November 22, 2014 from 2:00-4:00pm at Cotter Funeral Home, 860 N. Webster Ave., De Pere.
