Clifford VandenLangenberg, 79, New Denmark, died Wednesday, May 29, 2013, at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born December 16, 1933 in Green Bay, son of the late George and Louise (Linssen) VandenLangenberg. He served his country in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War. Clifford married Ann Boehm on May 21, 1955 at Holy Martyrs Catholic Church in Green Bay. Clifford was a farmer and had many other jobs to support his family. He was a member of the Denmark American Legion Post #363 where he was active in the Honor Guard, All Saints Church Choir, and he enjoyed spending time with his kids and grandkids, woodworking and donating his time and talents. He will be deeply missed by his loving wife, Ann; children: Mark (Mary), Lynn (Walter) Crews, Connie (Terry) Rueckert, Sue (Craig) Stephens, Paul (Cheryl), Donna (Scott) Stroik, Alan (Brenda), Karl (Karla), and Heidi (fiancé-DeVante Blanks); 18 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; siblings: Leona Lelou, Wilbert VandenLangenberg, Roland (Carol), Nancy (Roger) Denis, Ruth (Harold) Watermolen; sisters-in-law, Ceil VandenLangenberg and Dorothy VandenLangenberg; and numerous nieces and nephews. Clifford was preceded in death by his parents; siblings: Johanna LeSage (Bob) (Ed Thompson); brother-in-law, Ronald Lelou, Donald VandenLangenberg, Lawrence VandenLangenberg, Betty (Richard) LeSage, Patsy VandenLangenberg; and sister-in-law, Karen VandenLangenberg. Family and friends may call Friday, May 31, 2013 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Knutson-Cotter Funeral Home, 536 Cty R, Denmark, where there will be an American Legion Service at 7:15 p.m with Parish Prayer Service to follow at 7:30 p.m. Visitation will continue on Saturday, June 1st, at the funeral home from 9:30 a.m. until the procession leaves for All Saints Catholic Church in Denmark. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:30 a.m. Saturday at church, with Fr. Ron Colombo officiating. Full military honors will follow the Mass.
