Clayton L. Dworak, age 95, left peacefully to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 25, 2016. The son of the late Frank and Ella (Schultz) Dworak was born October 14, 1921 in the Town of New Denmark. On September 15, 1943, he married Jannet Mathieson at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Denmark, and they were married for 57 years before Jannet passed away on December 30, 2000. Clayton always had a positive outlook on life. He loved Jesus and read the Bible daily, which was a testament of his great faith. He is survived by his children: Bonita (Ed) Burdick of Mishicot, Roxanna Retzlaff (friend Ed) of Two Rivers, Curt (Debra) of Green Bay, Rick of Denmark, Ron (Suellen) of Appleton; grandchildren: Jill (Gregg) Schetter and children Sydney, Ryley and Megan; the late Kim Carlson and children: Courtney and Garrett; Kevin (Shawntel) Retzlaff and Craig (Jill) Retlaff; Annie (Travis) Conkey and children Costel and Luca; Laura (Barry) Yell and daughter Lillie; brother Glenn; nieces, nephews, other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jannet; brothers: Francis (Dorothy) and Jerome, sons-in-law Keith Retzlaff and Robert Wilker and Jim Demmin; sister-in-law Roberta Dworak; brothers-in-law: Gordon (Olive) Mathieson, Harriet (Vernon) Ruttner, Harold Mathieson and Alvin Mathieson. Family and friends may visit at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, 435 Wisconsin Ave, Denmark, on Thursday, December 29, from 9:00am until 10:45am. Funeral service will be held at 11:00am with Pastor Andy Zoerb officiating. Entombment in the Shrine of the Good Shepherd Mausoleum in Green Bay. Cotter Funeral Home of Denmark is assisting the family.
