Clarence W. Bornemann, 92, Denmark, passed away Tuesday, December 14, 2010 at Bornemann Nursing Home. He was born August 31, 1918 in the town of Morrison, son of the late Charles and Sadie (Hallfrisch) Bornemann. He served his country in the United States Army-Air Corps from 1941 to 1946. He married Viola D. Kocian on September 17, 1946 in Wayside. He worked his entire life in construction for Zeman Construction in Maribel. Survivors include his wife, Viola; three daughters, JoAnne (Dick) Augustine, Bellevue, Carol (Ron) Jobelius, Bellevue, and Julie (Bill) Wilmet, Ft. Atkinson; eight grandchildren: Kristin Augustine, Kami (Rick) Blatter, Kyle (Katie) Augustine, Heather Jobelius, Ryan (Tricia) Jobelius, Jill (Chris) Henze, Shayna Wilmet, Adam Wilmet; eight great-grandchildren: Abigail, Hayden, Zachary, Zoe, Avery, Travis, Gabriale, and Helena; one sister, Erna (Virgil) Kocian; and a sister-in-law, Ruth Bornemann. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Linda (Ray) Krueger, Althea (Marvin) Nighorn; and three brothers: Hilbert, Delbert, and Reinhart Bornemann. Friends may call Saturday, December 18, 2010 from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of Mass at All Saints Catholic Church, Denmark. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:30 a.m. Saturday at church, with Fr. Ron Colombo officiating. Entombment will follow in Knollwood Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, Manitowoc.
