Cheryl M. (Neuber) Landwehr

Cheryl M. (Neuber) Landwehr, 57, Greenleaf, passed away unexpectedly, Wednesay evening, March 17, 2010. Daughter of the late Earl and Aurelia (Meverden) Neuber was born November 26, 1952 in Appleton. Cheryl graduated from Appleton Xavier High School with the class of 1971. On February 14, 1998 she married Maynard Landwehr. Cheryl worked for many years at Wisconsin Tissue Mills in Neenah. She later drove school bus for Wrightstown School District. Cheryl worked at Earl’s Rides, which is a lifelong family business where she was affectionately known as “Pee-Wee”. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Greenleaf where she was part of the choir and helped at church and school functions. Cheryl was an avid volunteer of local organizations and most recently at St. Paul Home in Kaukauna. She also enjoyed basket weaving and doing crafts. She was a very caring person who especially enjoyed spending time with her family, friends, and grandchildren. Survivors include her husband Maynard; children: Brandon (Amy) Neuber, Abbygayl (Chad) Wright, Gabriel (special friend, Kim Ackerley) Konopka, and Apryl (Chris DeCleene) Konopka; stepchildren: Leana (Dave) Kussow and Aaron Landwehr; grandchildren: Zackary, Brooke, Benjamin, and Braeden Neuber, Peyton Wright, and Cloe DeCleene; brothers and sisters: Margaret (Peggy) Neuber, George (Jessie) Neuber, Marie (Doug) Neuber-Fink, Earl Neuber II, and Paul (Cindy) Neuber; mother-in-law, Frances Landwehr; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Gene (Sally) Landwehr, Nancy (Jim) Enderby, and Paul, Russ, and Randy Landwehr. Cheryl was preceded in death by 2 special aunts, Anita Moynihan and Rita Bergh along with many other relatives. Family and friends may call Saturday, March 20, 2010 at St. Clare Catholic Parish/ St. Mary site, 2212 Day St., Greenleaf from 11:00a.m. until 1:00p.m. The Memorial Mass will be celebrated at church on Saturday at 1:00p.m. Burial of Cheryl’s cremains will be in St. Anthony Catholic Cemetery in Oconto Falls along side of her mother. Cotter Funeral Home is assisting the family. Online condolences may be expressed to the family at www.cotterfuneralhome.com. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established. The family would like to send a special thank you to Cheryl’s dear friends, Marie Wall, Lucy Klister,and Gloria Berg.
