Cecile "Sis" Francken

Cecile “Sis” E. Francken, age 91 of De Pere, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 20, 2020. The daughter of the late Charles and Eva (Peral) Deneys, she was born on July 28, 1929 in Green Bay. She graduated from Green Bay West High School in 1947 and on September 5, 1953 Cecile married Kenneth Francken at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Green Bay. Ken preceded her in death on March 26, 2019.
Sis worked for many years the Deli Manager at Super Ron’s. In Sis’s spare time, she enjoyed camping with her husband, playing Bingo, visits with friends, baking, but especially enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She was a member of St. Mary and St. Francis Parish in De Pere.
Survivors include three sons; Steve Francken of Florida, Mark (Julie) Francken of Hiles, WI and Mike (Doris) Francken of De Pere, grandchildren; Emily (Jeff) Rohr of De Pere, Eric (Kayla) Francken of Chippewa Falls, Jessica (Brandon) Bailey of Minnesota, Danny Francken of Oregon and Rebecca Francken of Colorado and great granddaughter, Grace Rohr of De Pere. She is further survived by her sister, Dorothy Huben, and sister-in-law, Mary Ellen Francken. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ken Francken, sister, Ruth (Al) Timmerman, mother and father-in-law, Rose and Tony Francken, brothers in law; Judd and Larry Francken and Richard Huben.
A private family Mass was held for Cecile at St. Norbert College Parish. Entombment in Allouez Chapel Mausoleum. Cotter Funeral and Cremation Care is assisting the family.
