Caroline Schisel

Caroline Carol Schisel, age 86, of Wrightstown, passed away on Monday, July 26, 2021.  She was born on July 27, 1934 to the late George and Sadie (Zuelke) Spietz.  Caroline graduated from Wrightstown High School and has been a lifelong Greenleaf and Wrightstown resident.  On October 11, 1952 she married Ronald Schisel, they shared 61 years together until his passing on August 13, 2013.  Caroline always had a love for animals, caring for horses, goats and rabbits to name a few!  She and Ron worked together on their hobby farm and garden, and enjoyed playing cards and going to the casino, as well as cooking and baking.

She is survived by her children, Roy (Betty) Schisel, Judy (Keith) Bowers, Betty (Mark) Delahaut, Cindy (Al) Vroman, Robert (Sarah) Schisel, Mary (Tim) Gussert, Richard (Kim) Schisel, Sherry (Tim) Ducharme, Sandra (Greg) Pantzlaff; 16 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; sister, Lorraine (Clifford) Conradt; sister-in-law Verna; brothers-in-law: Kenneth, James, Larry, Raymond, Elmer Jr and Clifford, as well as her special cat Danny.

Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ronald; daughter, Debra Hutjens; brother Gerhardt; sisters-in-law, Rogene, Patsy, Mary Jane, Shirley, Janice, Elayne; brothers-in-law Gerald and Thomas.

Private funeral services have been held for Caroline.  Burial in St. John Ev. Lutheran Cemetery, Wrightstown.  Cotter Funeral and Cremation Care is assisting the family.
