Carol M. (Scheibe) Sternitzky

July 2, 1936 — May 31, 2015

Carol was born on July 2, 1936 at Marshfield, Wisconsin, the daughter of Melvin Scheibe and Marie (née Walters) Scheibe. Carol attended Marshfield Senior High School. She lived at Wisconsin Rapids and Stevens Point prior to moving to Green Bay in 1971. She was a homemaker for many years, and later worked at St. Mary’s Hospital and Diana Manufacturing in Green Bay, where she retired from after 20 plus years. She will be remembered for her great sense of humor, sense of adventure, good nature and love for her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and grand-pets. Survivors include her sister Joanne Schmidt and three brothers Richard Scheibe, Robert Scheibe and Ronald Scheibe, all residents of Marshfield. Survivors also include four children and their spouses, James (Colleen) Sternitzky, Kewaunee; Jayne Ward, Green Bay; Jeffrey (Jessica Brown) Sternitzky, Tucson, AZ; Janet (Mark) Glowacki, Richmond, TX; grandchildren, Karl Sternitzky, Kurt Sternitzky, Adam Ward, Andrea (Jason) Lettenberger, Aaron “A.J.” Glowacki, Brandon Glowacki, and Alyssa Glowacki; three great-grandchildren Marley Drewiske, Jaxon and Brady Lettenberger. She was preceded in death by her parents, Melvin and Marie (née Walters) Scheibe. Family and friends may visit at Cotter Funeral Home, 860 N. Webster Avenue, De Pere, on Saturday, June 6, from 1:00pm until the time of service at 2:00pm with Pastoral Minister Steve Donovan officiating. Online condolences at www.cotterfuneralhome.com
