Carol Jean (Denissen) Vandenlangenberg

Carol J. (Denissen) VandenLangenberg, 87, De Pere, passed away suddenly Thursday, June 30, 2016, with her family at her side. The daughter of Theodore and Delores (Boulanger) Denissen was born on February 26, 1929 in Green Bay. She married Roland A. VandenLangenberg on June 17, 1948 at Holy Martyrs of Gorcum. Carol and Roland just celebrated 68 years of marriage. Carol volunteered at St. Vincent Hospital and was a Eucharistic Minister at St. Mary Catholic Church in Ledgeview. She also loved traveling, going camping and playing cards. Carol was also a secretary-treasurer for the Catholic Knights Society Branch 21 from 1982-2014. She is survived by her loving husband, Roland; children, Luann (Dennis) Pansier, Ledgeview; Kathy (Eddie) Quandt, Green Bay; grandchildren: Teina( special friend Chuck Fameree) Rowell, Paul (Petula) Rowell, Joel (Kathy)Pansier, Jill (Scott) Brosig, Eric (Nicki) Pansier, Christopher (special friend Jessica Krueger) Pansier; eight little ones that call her great-grandma and mom to 17 foster children; sister, Barbara DeGroot; brother, James (Kathleen) Denissen; along with many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. Carol was preceded in death by a son, Michael and a sister, Judy Belschner. Family and friends may visit at St. Mary Catholic Church, 4805 Sportsman Drive, Ledgeview, on Tuesday, July 5, from 2:00pm until 5:15pm. The Mass of Christian Burial for Carol will be celebrated at 5:30pm Tuesday with Rev. Richard Getchel officiating. Entombment will be held at Shrine of the Good Shephard Mausoleum.
