Carol Ann (Charneski) Golueke

October 14, 1932 — December 14, 2015

Carol A. Golueke, 83, passed away peacefully surrounded by familly on Monday, December 14, 2015. The daughter of the late Stanley and Winnifred (Walker) Charneski was born on October 14, 1932. She attended the Cathedral Grade School and was a 1950 graduate of Green Bay East High School. On May 12, 1956 she married James H. Golueke at St. Francis Xavier Cathedral. She was a long time member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Ledgeview. During her working years, she was employed at Proctor and Gamble. She was a civil defense plane spotter during wartime. Carol was involved in many organizations over the years, including the St. Mary’s and Green Bay Christian Women Club, Prayer Shawl and Care Ministries, Daughters of Isabella Club, Girl Scouts, Mothers of Twins and Meals on Wheels. She also loved baking, knitting, sewing and having lunches with family and friends. She was always keeping the post office in business by sending out cards and letters for every occasion. She is survived by her children: Patti Golueke; Karen (Jim) Seaman; Ann (Tom) Hermsen; Mary Golueke; Ellen (Kurt) Wilkinson; Paul (Becky) Golueke; grandchildren: Jason (Jennie) Seaman and son, Tyler; Derek (Joanna) Seaman and daughter, Kara; Aaron Seaman; Kory (fiancé Kelsey) Wilkinson; Brody (special friend Kait) Golueke; Gwen Golueke; Jared and Wade Miles, and their father, Don; sister, Elaine (Frank) Osmanski; numerous nieces and nephews; special friends and cousins – you know who you are; club ladies, lunch ladies. In addition to her parents, Carol is preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, James H. Golueke; James’ parents Joseph and Florence Golueke; brothers-in-law: William (Virginia) Golueke; Joseph (Florence) Golueke; John (Mary) Golueke. Family and friends may visit Cotter Funeral Home, 860 N. Webster Ave, De Pere, on Friday, December 18, 2015 from 3:00pm until 6:00pm with a parish prayer service at 6:00pm. Visitation will continue at St. Mary Catholic Church, 4805 Sportsman Drive, Ledgeview, on Saturday, December 19, 2015 from 10:30am until 11:15am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30am with Rev. Judah Pigon officiating. Burial will take place at Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery. Online condolences may be expressed at www.cotterfuneralhome.com A memorial fund is being established in Carol’s name. Carol’s family would like to extend their sincere thanks and appreciation to her special healthcare professionals and providers at Prevea Health, Bellin Hospital, and Odd Fellow Nursing Home.
