Bonnie Aerts, age 66, of Wrightstown, passed away Thursday, June 11, at her home with her daughters and grandchildren by her side. The daughter of the late Curtis and Lillyfaye (Quinn) Scott, Sr. was born March 12, 1949 in Peoria, IL. On April 25, 1969, she married Gerald “Jerry” Aerts at St. Agnes Catholic Church in Green Bay, and together they shared 25 years of marriage before Jerry passed away in 1994. Bonnie enjoyed playing cards, cooking, working in the meat shop that she and her husband owned, going to the casino, fishing and her animals. She loved her grandchildren dearly, never saying no to anything they requested and was known to be just as youthful as they were. Bonnie had a contagious laugh that brought joy to all those around her. Survivors include her children: Brenda Aerts and her daughter Taylor Newman, Tammy (Adam) Kussow and their children Mason and Mercedes, and Connie (special friend John) Aerts; brothers: Harold Scott, Gerald Scott, Gary (Karen) Scott and Curtis (Wendy) Scott, Jr. II; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Dennis (Mary) Aerts, Leo (Mary) Aerts, Mary Jane (Ron “Barber”) Smith, Norma Aerts and Rose (Don) Coenen; nieces and nephews: Christy, Tami, Missy, Sarah (Bonnie’s Godchild), Kevin, Holly, Geno, Christopher, Brandon, Kim, Brian, Jamie, and Casey; as well as her sister-in-law and dear friend, Carol. In addition to her husband, Jerry, Bonnie was preceded in death by four infant children: Brenda, Jerry, Curtis and Gerald; a nephew Joe (Bonnie’s Godchild); a niece, Nikki; brothers-in-law: Ronald Aerts and Melvin Liebergen; and an infant brother, Curtis Scott. Family and friends may visit at Dewane-Cotter Funeral Home, 711 Main Street, Wrightstown, on Monday, June 15, from 4-8pm. A parish prayer service will be held at 7:00pm Monday evening. Visitation will continue on Tuesday, at St. Clare Parish-St. Paul Site, Wrightstown, from 10:00am until 10:45am. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00am on Tuesday. Interment will follow in St. Paul Cemetery, Wrightstown.
