Beverly Nitka

Beverly J. Nitka, 67, Morrison, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 21, 2011. On July 26, 1943 she was born to the late Lawrence and Cecelia (Vanden Langenberg) Terrien. Beverly married Joseph Nitka on April 25, 1968 at St. Mary Catholic Church, Glenmore. She worked many years at Children’s World Day Care. Beverly was an active 4-H leader, where she was known for her rabbit projects. She enjoyed Polka music and water fighting at the Fireman’s picnics. Beverly was always a caring, loving person. She is survived by her loving husband, Joseph; two daughters and son-in-law, Sharon (Frank) Eagen and Tammy Nitka. Caring grandmother of Larry Nitka and Anthony Eagen. Also survived by her sisters, Joann Terrien (special friend, Lloyd Steinbrecher); Pat (Merle) Kulhanek; mother-in-law, Bernice Nitka; brothers and sisters-in-law, Jim (Shirley) Nitka and Dave (Terry) Nitka, Randy (Mary) Nitka, Donna Gust; many other relatives and friends. Beverly is preceded in death by her infant brother and sister; father-in-law, Henry Nitka. Family and friends may call at Cotter Funeral Home, 860 N. Webster Ave., De Pere on Wednesday, May 25, 2011 from 4:00PM to 8:00PM. Visitation will continue on Thursday at the funeral home from 10:00AM to 11:00AM. A prayer service will be at 11:00AM with Sr. Gerri Krautkramer officiating. Entombment in Allouez Chapel Mausoleum.
