Betty J. Zaegel

Betty J. Zaegel, 84, Green Bay, passed away Saturday, June 22, 2013 at a local hospital. She was born April 4, 1929 in Sheboygan, WI, daughter to the late William Deback and Laura (Carl) Hertzinger. Betty graduated from North High School in Sheboygan and attended Business College in Milwaukee. She married Richard Zaegel on October 22, 1949 in Sheboygan, WI. Betty enjoyed golfing, reading, and spending winters in Texas for the past 22 years. Survivors include her husband, Richard, Green Bay; daughter and son-in-law, Karen (Jim) Schmit, De Pere; and one granddaughter, Nicole Schmit, Nashville, TN. Family and friends may call Wednesday, June 26, 2013 from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of Memorial Service at 12:00 p.m. at Cotter Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 860 N. Webster Ave., 860 N.
