Beth M. Hibbard

November 7, 1966 — August 7, 2022

Beth M. Hibbard, 55, De Pere, passed away at home August 7, 2022, surrounded by her loving family.

Born November 7, 1966, to Jack and Enid Riggle in Madison WI, Beth graduated Memorial High School, then attended UW Eau Claire graduating with Masters in Speech and Language Pathology. Beth worked in the Plymouth School District, then transferred to the Ashwaubenon School District where she spent the next 25 years. She later transferred into virtual teaching with Rehab Resources. Beth loved her family more than anything else, she married Joel Hibbard in 1991 and had three incredible children. She spent her available time traveling, gardening, baking, reading, antiquing and camping. She also spent much of her time serving others through different organizations at her church, at St. John's Homeless Shelter, on service trips, and in youth ministry at Destiny Church. She cherished memories with all of the people she touched, especially those at home including her beloved dogs, past and present.

Beth is survived by her husband Joel; her son Alex; daughters Lauren and Alaina; her mother Enid; sisters Shelley Graves, Sandy (Bill) Putnam; brother David (Tina) Riggle; 21 nieces and nephews; and countless friends, family, colleagues, and wonderful neighbors.

Preceded in death are her father, Jack Riggle; parents-in-law David and Lois Hibbard.

The family would like to thank all of those who said an extra prayer, a note of strength, visited, or spoke kind words. They would like to thank the staff of Unity Hospice for their compassionate care and treatment of their wife, mother, sister, and friend. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Destiny Church (De Pere) or St. John’s Homeless Shelter.

Visitation will take place Saturday August 20, 2022, from 9am until 12noon at Destiny Church (411 Destiny Dr. De Pere) with a Memorial service at 12:30pm with Pastor Kirk Gerbers officiating.

Cotter Funeral and Cremation Care is assisting the family.
