Bernard S. Peterson

Bernard “Bernie” Peterson, 86, of De Pere passed away peacefully February 16, 2022.

Bernie was born July 8, 1935, in Chicago IL to the late Sherman and Florence Peterson, he just celebrated 65 years of marriage to the love of his life Jane on February 9, 2022, Bernie was an electrical engineer who spent the majority of his career at Paper Converting Machine Company. Bernie enjoyed watching Packers, Brewers and Bucks games, fishing and puttering in his many gardens. However, he found his greatest pleasure spending time with his family especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Bernie is survived by his wife Jane, son David (Gloria), daughter Lynn Feller and Karen (Randy) McVey grandchildren Kristen (Gabe) Weidenbaum, Kevin (Kendra) Feller, Kyle Peterson, Andy Peterson, Ryan (fiance Kylie Birenbaum) McVey and Ross (special friend Morgan Seidel) McVey, great grandchildren Norah and Ben Weidenbaum, Jack Feller, Lilli Moline and Huntley Feller.

A private funeral service for immediate family has already been held at Saint Mary's church in De Pere. Cotter Funeral Home and Cremation Care is assisting the family.
