Bernadine "Bernie" Moureau

Bernadine “Bernie” Moureau, age 86, Town of Lawrence, passed away peacefully on January 25, 2018 with her loving family by her side. The daughter of the late Felix and Nettie (Ebben) Garsow was born October 13, 1931 in the Town of Lawrence. Bernie married George W. Moureau on November 18, 1950 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in De Pere. She loved to read and cook, and her love of baking led her to start Bernie’s Cake Shop, which she ran for many years with her son Ron. Above all else, she loved her husband George and her family. Survivors include her son: Ron (Nancy) Moureau and their children Jess (Nathan) Waack (and their son Ev) and George; daughter: Judy Pakanich and her daughter Lauren; son: Tim (Sheila) Moureau and their children Elise (Chris) Rommes (and their son Logan) and Lucas; brother: Don Garsow; sisters-in-law: Eunice Garsow and Ann Minor. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, George, two sons: Dan and Gary, as well as her brothers and sisters and their families. Family and friends may visit at Cotter Funeral Home, 860 N Webster Ave, De Pere, on Monday, January 29, from 4-7pm. Funeral service will follow at 7:00pm with Deacon Mike Vander Bloomen officiating. Entombment in Allouez Chapel Mausoleum.
