Barbara Johnson

Barbara K Johnson (Adam) joined her beloved Robert Haaker in death on April 23, 2023 at the age of 64 in Greenleaf, WI where they shared a home together. She was born September 30, 1958 in Milwaukee, WI to John Adam and Margot Adam (Grotte).

After meeting each other at work, Barbara married Richard M Johnson in 1984 and in 1985 welcomed their only child, Katrina. Following their divorce, the two remained friends until Richard's death in 2019. While bartending at Friends First in West Allis, WI, Barbara met Robert and the two were quickly inseparable, remaining together and deeply in love until his death in 2022.

Barbara was larger than life with her boisterous laughter, humor and kindness. Although brash and sometimes without filter, she was always willing to help others in need with her generous and loving nature. She loved to sing, dance, hug and smile and always managed to create wonderful foods to share. The only thing larger than her spirit was perhaps her collection of pigs.

Barbara is survived by her daughter, Katrina Kuhlen (Ryan), step-children Kathy Fleming (Michael) and Jim Haaker (Amanda), grandchildren Arya, Ryker and Thea and countless family and friends.
