Barbara Jean (Blohowiak) Winiecki

Barbara Winiecki, age 77, of Denmark, passed away Thursday, January 25, 2018. The daughter of the late Frank and Katherine (Kozlovsky) Blohowiak was born September 12, 1940 in Green Bay. She married Richard Winiecki on July 23, 1960 at St. James Catholic Church in Cooperstown, and he preceded her in death in 2007. Barb was a hard-working farmer, enjoyed bowling and wrestling, and above all else was a loving wife, mom, grandma and great-grandma. Survivors include her children: Jackie Van Gheem Julie Winiecki, Jayme Winiecki and Jesse (Mandy) Winiecki; grandchildren: Ricky (Danie) Van Gheem and their children Deagan, Dominic and Madalyn, Steven Van Gheem, Jeffrey (Lena) Winiecki and children Wyatt and Samuel, Triston (Kim) Winiecki and children Arianna and Aaliyah, Jordan and his daughter Camila, Cody, Cassandra and her children Emerson and Aubrey, Brett, Brock, Carolyn and Hunter; siblings: Audrey Kiedgner, Ronald Blohowiak and Ralph (Bonnie) Blohowiak as well as nieces, nephews, other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard and daughter Jeannie (Steve) Gajeski. Family and friends may visit at All Saints Catholic Church, 145 St. Claude Street, Denmark, on Saturday, February 3, from 9:00am until 10:45am. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00am with the Rev. Kevin Ori officiating. Burial in SS Cyril and Methodius Cemetery, Eaton. Cotter Funeral Home of Denmark is assisting the family.
