Barbara "Armitage" Folz

Barbara J. Folz, age 78, of Oshkosh, passed away Wednesday, March 04, 2015 at Angel’s Touch in De Pere. She was the daughter of the late John and Irene (Smith) Armitage. Barb married Daniel Folz on May 31, 1958. After raising their children, she returned to school, getting her degree in teaching. She then taught in the Oshkosh Public School District. Barb enjoyed traveling, needlepoint and sewing. She loved spending time with her grandchildren. Her family meant the world to her. Barb is survived by her husband Daniel, her children: Becky (Rick) Schutte, Tammy (Mike) Hoes, Debbie Folz and Susan (Mike) Heier; grandchildren: Ryan (Emily) and Jesse (significant other Kelsey) Schutte, Travis, Zachary (Ashley), Anna and Olivia Heier and several great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers and sisters-in-law: Jack (Donna), Robert (Carolyn) and William (Colleen) Armitage, as well as many nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
