Austin Paul Jones

Austin Paul Jones, age 24, resident of Kaukauna, was born October 5, 1995 and on August 23, 2020 passed away unexpectedly of natural causes.
Austin lived a complete and happy life where he was able to enjoy traveling, especially to Las Vegas with his dad, and trips to National Parks and Michigan with his step-dad. He loved attending many movies (especially Marvel movies) and taking trips to breweries. He was always down for a good shopping trip with mom and having her pay of course! Austin was an avid gamer and loved spending time with his sister and brother-in-law playing Mario Kart and shootin’ the breeze. Austin and his sister were like Spongebob and Patrick, best friends forever. He was an avid Dragon Ball Z and Supernatural fan, and had a love of cars, especially Corvettes. Austin’s first and only job was for Culver’s, where he started in Council Bluffs, Iowa before transferring to the Little Chute restaurant. During his time there, he rapidly grew into a management role and made Culver’s his second home and a fun place to work for his co-workers. He often said, “a clean store is a happy store.” Anyone who met Austin wouldn’t be able to forget how much of a loving son, brother, grandson and friend he was to many.
Surviving Austin are his parents, Doug Jones and Wanda (Eric) Mitcham; his sister Ciara (Casey) Hansen; maternal grandma Marilyn Detry; paternal grandma Gloria Jones and Ciara’s cats who Austin loved, Bilbo and Macy, as well as many friends.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandpa Roger Detry; paternal grandpa Stanley Jones, an uncle Paul Detry and an aunt Donna Jones.
Family and friends may visit at Cotter Funeral Home, 860 N Webster Ave, De Pere, on Friday, August 28, from 10:00am until the time of service at 12:00pm with Deacon Ken Kabat officiating.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be established in Austin’s name.
